George M. Bradshaw

George Bradshaw is an attorney with the law firm of Huck Bouma PC. Mr. Bradshaw serves as Outside General Counsel for a number of corporations with an emphasis in the areas of General Corporate, Banking and Commercial Law including Sales, Mergers & Acquisitions, Business and Estate Successor Planning for Family business owners and Commercial Real Estate Transactions and Loan Documentation. He is a member of the ABA, the Illinois State Bar Association, the DuPage County Bar Association and DuPage County Estate Planning Council. He is a member of the Glen Ellyn Rotary Club. Mr. Bradshaw has been a seminar speaker on different topics relating to his practice area of concentration at various forums. He also serves on the Board of Directors for a number of the firm's corporate clients.

Jane Hodgkinson
Jane Hodgkinson had been the Executive Director of the Western DuPage Special Recreation Association since 1981. WDSRA has twice been named the best public recreation program for people with disabilities in the United States. Her husband, Pat Cleary, a Glen Ellyn attorney and their two sons John and Mike live in Wheaton.

During her more than thirty-five years in the field of park and recreation, Jane has contributed to the profession in many ways. She served as the Chairman of the Illinois Park and Recreation Association in 2004, and has been recognized by her peers for her achievements with numerous awards. Her major accomplishments include co-authoring a textbook, receiving the prestigious ARTZ Award, and being named to the American Academy for Park and Recreation Administration. She was a founding board member of the Illinois Special Olympics in 1976 and a member of the Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital’s Board of Directors. In 1987 she was named one of DuPage County’s Outstanding Women Leaders.

A graduate of Southern Illinois University, she holds both undergraduate and graduate degrees in Recreation Administration. She has been active in the Alumni organization and has been the recipient of the Outstanding Recreation Alumni award. Her lifelong goal has been to improve access into life for people with disabilities.

Dennis O'Connell
Dr. O'Connell is retired from the Roselle Public School System after twenty-nine years as an administrator. His educational career covered thirty-seven years as teacher, principal, and superintendent. As a young farm boy in Wisconsin, he received his teaching degree from Oshkosh State Teachers College followed by degrees from Northern Illinois University, University of Illinois, and the University of Toledo in Ohio. Following his retirement from Roselle Public School District in 1997, he has served as a consultant and financial instructor at North Central College and Aurora University. Dr. O'Connell has served as a member of the Board of PACT and the Somonauk Fire Department. He is also an active member of Lions, Rotary, Crusade of Mercy, and Fox Valley Older Adults.

John T. Porter
Mr. Porter has served on various boards and commissions including the Illinois Association for Retarded Citizens, Public Aid Advisory Committee, sub-committee chair for the Illinois Commission on Children, etc. In addition, he has served as an advisor to several minority and women's organizations. Mr. Porter has served on the Boards of the following organizations: Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities, National Association of Developmental Disability Councils, Illinois Planning Council on Developmental Disabilities, National Conference of State Legislatures, Illinois Self Sufficiency Trust, Illinois Association for Retarded Citizens, Public Aid Advisory Committee, Illinois Commission on Children, etc. In addition, he has served as an advisor to several minority and women's organizations. Mr. Porter is a disabled veteran with a 100% wartime disability. He is the father of a 35 year-old son with multiple disabilities.

Carlissa Puckett
Carlissa Puckett is the Executive Director of Sparc in Springfield, IL. Sparc is a not for profit organization which provides a wide variety of services at 17 locations to approximately 900 individuals with developmental disabilities. Carlissa has worked in the field of developmental disabilities for more than 30 years, starting as a direct care worker in a community agency. Before coming to Sparc she worked for the former Illinois Department of Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities. She has a Bachelor's Degree from Eastern University and a Master's Degree from Southern Illinois University.

Cathy Ficker Terrill
Cathy Ficker Terrill is the President and CEO of the Ray Graham Association for People with Disabilities. RGA is a private agency that provides services to approximately 2300 children and adults. Ms. Terrill is the parent of a child with multiple disabilities. Ms. Terrill has served two terms on the President's Committee on Mental Retardation. She has served on the Board of Directors AAMR, both Nationally and at the Regional and State level. Ms. Terrill has also served on the Board of Illinois TASH. Internationally, she has volunteered her time to the International Christian Children's Bureau working in the Baltic States and Eastern Europe, with UNICEF in Poland, she has also volunteered her time in Russia, Saudi Arabia and Lithuania.

Ron Wisecarver
Ron Wisecarver is currently retired and living in Coal Valley, Illinois in the Quad Cities. He holds a M. Divinity, Lutheran School of Theology and served several churches in Maine and Illinois as a Lutheran pastor.

He has been President, CEO of several ARCs in Illinois, and served on boards of 3 national organizations related to services for persons with developmental disabilities.

Ron has taken post graduate cources at U. of Pennsylvania (Wharton School of Business), U. California and has presented training and leadership workshops for a variety of service providers across the nation and has functioned as a consultant in the field of developmental disabilities, for many years. He is currently involved with numerous political activities to enhance governmental responsiveness to the needs of the disabled, senior citizens and other individuals who are disenfranchised due to economic or social status.

His primary focus, as conveyed in his photo, is on his 3 grandchildren in Valparaiso, Indiana (he's pictured here with the youngest, Bryce, sister to twins Emma and Ian), children of son, Andrew, and foster grandson, Brandan, who is in Australia with foster mom, Ron's daughter, Kara (who is an Autism Specialist for the national service system, there).
