Scott Nixon is the Executive Director for Life’s Plan, Incorporated. Scott Nixon has spent over 8 years working with the disabled population in the Chicago Public School system as a Senior Employer Representative for the Marriott Foundation. Scott mentored, advocated, and trained young adults with disabilities in areas of employment needs, self-sufficiency, and disability rights. Scott has built over many years a referral network of schools, agencies, and advocacy groups that greatly benefit the needs of the disabled in Illinois. Scott is an invited speaker to present at workshops, local parent groups, state and national conferences on the relevance of special needs trusts and their importance.

Bill is Permanent Legal Counsel for Life'sPlan, Inc. Bill Wilson has practiced over 20 years, concentrating in the areas of Elder Law, Estate and Medicaid Planning, Estate Planning for Families with Disabled Children, Probate, and advising not-for-profit corporations. He is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and of the Chicago Bar Association Committees on Trust Law, Asset Protection, and Elder Law. He is the past president of Helping Hand Rehabilitation Center, an agency for individuals with developmental disabilities and also of the local chapter of the American Cancer Society. Bill is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Southwest Suburban Center on Aging in LaGrange, Illinois.

Erika is the Trust Administrator for Life’s Plan, Inc. Erika recently graduated from Governors State University. She has worked as a Certified Para-Professional for the Maywood school district providing services to elementary aged students in special education. Her duties included training students to become more independent, teaching academic skills, offering mentorship, and processing Individualized Education Plans (IEP). Erika has also served as a Dispatcher for Pace Para-Transit services, which provides transportation to people with disabilities. She has years of experience working in the insurance industry. She has many years of college training in the area of special education. Erika has volunteered as a coach, teaching dance and cheerleading to children with disabilities.
